I throw down the gauntlet. In art it’s the point where I say “F—- It!” My precious piece has gone vanilla, gotten stuck, and I can’t think my way out of it, so I make a physical change. Let me tell you a story of two elephants that I transformed when I threw down the gauntlet.

The world is topsy turvy right now. I’m unhappy watching or reading the news. I don’t want to be “entertained” into denial or submission. I want to be aware but I also want to enjoy the gifts I have. It is a precarious, fragile tightrope walk these days.
